Biggest Diva : This ones easy for me…it’s got to be Amir. Each moment spent with him is another grey hair on my young head! Not happy unless he is having a moan.

Bio : Founder and DJ of Floorplay Events, Barrie has enjoyed a very diverse experience of clubbing both as a DJ and as a Promoter. Barrie started out as a DJ over 6years ago and has a huge love for House Music.
Anyone who has witnessed one of Barrie’s sets will see that he bleeds passion for music. His sets are packed full of energy and suspense. It’s that energy and suspense that has helped him pack out dance floors across the country and also hold down Residencies with the likes of Miss MoneyPennys and Fierce Angels.

Most Memorable Moment :Dancing in the foam with my top off infront of 2000+ Freshers at Enigma’s launch party in Aberdeen…someone had to do it.
Biggest Diva : This one’s easy – me aside: – I would award this to the Creep of the so called ladies man – Darren Connell (cough cough).

Bio: Although described by many as the biggest moan at Floorplay Events, Amir certainly knows how to party! Amir is at the forefront of promotion for our student night Enigma, If he’s not chatting to girls for phone numbers or buying girls drink at the bar Amir is usually hard at work pushing to make our brand one of the best in the country…..no seriously he is! He may look a little bit slow but there is a brain in there!

Bio:.Starting out as an aspiring DJ in the 80′s, I was mixing it up and scratching my tracks before I was even close to finishing school. Influenced by the old school legends like “Grandmaster Flash” and the original HipHop scene, I established myself as a DJ in Australia by the early 90′s.
With residencies at Gold Coasts, Penthouse, Fortunes and Fever nightclubs, I then bought my own club in 1999 called “The Mansion”. With 3 rooms playing House, Trance and Chillout, I became a DJ promoter and owner of one of the Gold Coasts more upfront dance venues. I also had my own radio show every Monday night live from my venue.
Apart from being a highly trained hair stylist to the celebrity world and co-starring on ITV 2′s hit reality show “Peter Andre, The Next Chapter”, I have returned to my one true passion.. by playing what I love best, uplifting, energised, remixed house anthems around the UK and into countries he never imagined!!!

Most Memorable Moment :There have been so many! Playing to 2000+ on our launch in Aberdeen, Receiving the Resident DJ of the year award for 2011, Rizzle Kicks rocking’ it with us at Shanghai but the whole Ibiza experience in Aug 2011 and more specifically playing the Pukka Up boat party then the legendary Space have to be the most memorable moments to date! Roll on many more in 2012!
Biggest Diva : Has to be Barrie… If his CDs aren’t labelled and stored in his CD case in perfect alphabetical order a major hissie fit ensues…

Bio : Liam is actually 56 and became part of the team after submitting his smooth and funky house mix as part of our DJ Competition many years ago.
Despite being tagged by many as the granddad of the group Liam certainly knows how to give the “younger ones” a run for their money.
Oh yeah… his talents, well he said to be Barrie’s golden boy and can do no wrong – it’s that tag that recently seen him Winner the first ever Resident of the Year Award at the Floorplay Charity Ball. Liam is the heart and soul of our DJ Team and will no doubt still with us for many years yet even after collecting his pension. (This by the way is only four years away).

Bio : Since starting out as a VIP hostess with Floorplay Events, Carla has gone onto become a pivotal part of the events team. From keeping Barrie and Amir in check to ensuring our guests are looked after Carla has her work cut out for her. Described by many as the looker of the team (we’re not sure Amir will agree) Carla can be found at the front of house welcoming the many clubbers that come through our doors with her ever growing smile.
2012 will see Carla take charge of the Floorplay 2 U side of the business and no doubt will be making it a huge success along the way!
