We have a very strong team of Dj’s here at Floorplay Events and sometimes they do not get enough credit for all the work that they do.
With this in mind we decided to put together and present our first ever Resident Of The Year Award. We are delighted to announce after a long thought process our judging panel took the decision to present the award to the eldest member of our team of Residents (sorry Liam) – Liam Goldie.

Liam has been at the forefront of al our gigs, whether it be Edinburgh, Aberdeen or Ibiza Liam has never let us down! The award is fully deserved!!
I felt genuinely honoured and proud to receive the Floorplay Events DJ of the Year award for 2011 at our recent Charity Ball. I have had so many great times since joining the Floorplay team but especially so in 2011 where we have really seen the brand develop and grow. As a result, I’ve had the opportunity to regularly play to capacity crowds across Edinburgh, Aberdeen and not to forget what can only be described as amazing experience at Space in Ibiza aswell.

Resident of the year announced
I would first like to take the opportunity to thank all of our Residents of 2011. Every dj that played for us last year gave their all and contributed towards making 2011 our most successful year to date.
What made Liam stand out above all the rest was the not only the level of commitment but the desire he has shown to drive the brand forward with his work and suggestions behind the scene.
